Terms of business

AMOS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED (trading as PAWLTEX) is a business-to-business supplier. We deal with companies, not consumers. This page explains what we do with the information you send us, and the terms on which we quote and supply.
This policy is published in several languages for convenience. Where translations differ, the English text governs.
01Who you are contracting with
Quotations, order confirmations, invoices and contracts are issued by AMOS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. PAWLTEX is a trading name used by that company. Our manufacturing and export operations are carried out by affiliated companies in Nantong, Jiangsu, China.
02Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are exclusive of duties and taxes in the destination country unless we expressly state otherwise. Freight is quoted subject to the rates in force at the time of booking; where a quotation includes freight, we may adjust it if carrier rates or surcharges move materially before shipment, and we will tell you before we book.
03Orders and minimum quantities
An order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing. Minimum order quantities, lead times and sampling charges are stated in the quotation for each line and each construction.
04Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment terms are stated on the order confirmation. We may require a deposit before production and the balance before release of documents. Any agreed credit terms are subject to review.
05Delivery and risk
Delivery terms follow the Incoterms stated in the order confirmation (commonly FOB, CFR or CIF). Risk passes as provided by that Incoterm. Dates given are good-faith estimates, not guarantees; we will notify you promptly if a date moves.
06Quality and claims
Goods are supplied to the specification confirmed in the order. Please inspect on arrival and notify us of any shortage, defect or discrepancy within 14 days of receipt, with photographs and the carton markings. We will investigate and, where the goods do not conform to the confirmed specification, repair, replace, or credit them. Claims are limited to the value of the affected goods.
07Intellectual property
Our product designs, specifications, photographs and the PAWLTEX name and marks belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written consent. Where you supply your own designs, labels or artwork, you confirm you have the right to use them and you indemnify us against third-party claims arising from them.
08Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's commercial information confidential and use it only for the purpose of the business between us. This does not prevent us from referring to you as a customer in general terms, nor from quoting on similar products for others.
09Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of market.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute by discussion before commencing proceedings.
