01What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, company, business email address, country, buyer type, the products you are interested in, the quantities you mention, and your message. We also record the date and time of the enquiry and the country your connection appears to come from.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment card details, identity documents or any special-category personal data. Please do not send them through the enquiry form.

02Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and — if you become a customer — to conclude and perform the contract: arranging production, export documentation, shipping and payment.

To keep a record of our business correspondence, and to follow up on enquiries we have not yet answered.

03What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not send bulk unsolicited email.

We do not use your enquiry details for automated decision-making or profiling.

04Who else sees it

Internally, the staff who handle your enquiry or order. Externally, only where it is necessary to perform the work: our manufacturing and logistics partners, freight forwarders, customs brokers and our own banks, and our customer-relationship system provider. These parties receive only what they need.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so by a competent authority.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to 24 months, so that we can recognise you if you come back. Contract, export and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and customs law, which is generally at least 10 years.

06Cookies and measurement

This site uses only the cookies and local storage necessary to serve the pages and to count anonymous page views. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not build advertising profiles.

07Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to our processing or ask us to restrict it. Write to the address on our contact page and we will answer within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We would rather you came to us first.

08Security and transfers

We keep enquiry and order information on access-controlled systems and transmit it over encrypted connections. Because our manufacturing and export operations are in China, information you send us will be processed there. We take reasonable steps to protect it in transit and at rest.
